Patricia Strach is a professor in the Departments of Political Science and Public Administration & Policy, University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY). Her research examines public policy in state and local governments. She has published articles in numerous journals, including the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Policy Studies Journal, and Perspectives on Politics. She has presented her findings to federal and state policymakers and has appeared on panels across New York State. She was a Robert Wood Johnson Scholar in Health Policy Research at Harvard (2008-2010) after receiving her doctorate in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2004).
