Misbah Naseer is a doctoral student at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education and a research assistant in the Stanford Accelerator for Learning’s Futuring for Equity Lab. She also works with Stanford’s Teacher Education Program as a university supervisor and teaching assistant. Her research centers on the experiences of teaching candidates of color in teacher education, with a focus on identifying strategies to better support and sustain aspiring teachers of color. Misbah earned her B.A. in Political Science and her M.A. in Education with a teaching credential from the University of California, Davis. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, she taught middle school history.
