Cristina Barnard González
Cristina Barnard Gonzalez is a Research Associate at SCALE. She is passionate about social and emotional learning, behavioral science, and EdTech applications to promote educational equity. Cristina holds an M.A. in International Education Policy Analysis from Stanford and holds a B.A. in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de Mexico (ITAM). She will begin a PhD in Educational Policy at Stanford in the fall of 2026. Prior to joining the SCALE team, Cristina worked as a consultant for the World Bank. She participated in the long-term evaluation of the biggest conditional cash transfers program in Mexico. Cristina also worked in experimental evaluations of health and education interventions, as well as in quasi-experimental analyses of labor dynamics in developing countries.
